Drawing by Kristofers to be printed on e-tickets

Late this year yellow e-tickets will be decorated by the drawing of Kristofers Krūmiņš (see below) – such was the verdict of Rīgas satiksme website visitors who participated in the voting to select the best drawing. The tram drawn by Kristofers has collected an overwhelming majority, 713 votes. A total of 2949 "Rīgas satiksme" website visitors participated in the vote from June 2 till July 4.

The second place was taken by Elizabetes Valguma with 371 votes and the third by Līva Stare with 225 votes.

As reported earlier, on June 1, the International Children Defence Day, "Rīgas satiksme" organised an event for children at the 5th tram depot, including a contest of drawings to be printed on e-tickets and a tour of Riga in the Retro tram. Young talents from Jānis Rozentāls Riga Secondary School of Arts and the Latvian Academy of Artistic Fantasies of Children and Youth participated in the event. After the event, all the drawings were published on the website of "Rīgas satiksme", so that every visitor of the website could choose the best drawing and vote for it.

"Rīgas satiksme" established the tradition of printing children’s drawing on e-tickets last year, when a majority of the company website visitors voted for the low-floor tram drawn by Vineta.
